Why Choose Heritage?
Authentic Timber Finish
Heritage showcases a meticulously crafted weathered texture that captures the raw beauty of aged timber.
Its unique surface features a shrunk and band-sawn finish, with an abundance of natural character. The planks are free from brushing and are instead enhanced with a French polish treatment that creates rich, deep tones and time-worn appeal.
Unlike traditional French polish, Heritage offers an extra-matte finish, adding to the natural artisanal character.
Solid Timber, Redefined
Heritage combines the authentic charm of solid oak with the technical brilliance of engineered timber.
Available in 190, 250 and 300mm mixed widths with an innovative cross-laminated solid oak construction, Heritage delivers the look and feel of premium solid timber, but with the benefit of engineered timber’s stability and durability.
Ensuring lasting performance, the engineered structure eliminates the challenges of warping, cupping and movement associated with large-format solid timber flooring.
Sustainable Innovation
Heritage is constructed from three layers of solid oak, with the top layer consisting of 5mm of premium solid oak and the middle and backing layer of repurposed finger-jointed, b-grade oak.
This ensures that the value of every log is maximised and waste is reduced, resulting in a sustainably crafted, stable timber floor.
WHAT SETS FORTÉ APART?
Setting Forté apart is not just the quality of the materials, but the depth of service and technical assurance behind them.
ENGINEERED FOR UNMATCHED PERFORMANCE
Our timber surfaces are designed to exceed expectations when it comes to durability, stability, and environmental safety.
Each product is put through rigorous quality and performance testing to ensure it can stand up to the demands of everyday life — whether in high-traffic residential spaces or busy commercial environments.
We use innovative core constructions, advanced UV-cured lacquers, and moisture-resistant finishes that protect and preserve the timber, helping it maintain its integrity and beauty over time.
BUILT ON INNOVATION AND LONG-TERM RELIABILITY
From the inside out, our products are crafted to perform. Our advanced engineering processes combine cutting-edge materials and protective technologies to ensure your timber surfaces stay strong, stable and beautiful — year after year.
Designed to resist wear, fading and moisture, our products provide peace of mind for architects, designers, builders and homeowners alike.
SUPPORT THAT EXTENDS BEYOND THE SURFACE
At Forté, our commitment to excellence doesn’t end at product delivery. Our comprehensive Aftercare Service, detailed documentation and expert design guidance ensure that clients are supported through every stage of their project — from initial concept to long-term care.
Whether it's specifying the right product, advising on best installation practices or maintaining the timber’s natural beauty over time, we’re here to provide trusted expertise and responsive support at every step.
