Forté Christchurch Experience Centre Now Open

Forté’s presence across New Zealand continues to evolve with the opening of our newly fit-out Christchurch Experience Centre.

The space, designed by Wonder, is curated to reflect the essence of timber in its truest form, offering an immersive environment where clients can explore Forté’s premium timber solutions within a beautifully appointed and thoughtfully detailed setting.

The recent fit-out brings to life our vision of creating spaces that not only showcase timber, but honour its heritage, versatility and potential. From the moment you arrive, the centre invites you to experience timber as it’s meant to be —refined, tactile and enduring.

Featuring a selection of our most sought-after timber products across our five product categories, the Experience Centre presents a space that is both inspiring and highly considered.

Forté products used in the space

• The main showroom is grounded by Indus Atacama engineered timber flooring, while the Discovery Room is finished with Moda Dolcedo Herringbone and complemented by Muuro Dusk panelling on the walls and ceilings.
• Alor Solis veneer panels have been used to craft the joinery throughout and are also featured in the built-in shelf along the curved wall. 
• The walls of the main space are lined with Muuro Fawn and Noir panelling, creating subtle contrast and texture. 
• Outside, the entry is framed by Millboard Envello Shadowline Burnt Cedar cladding, with Board & Batten Burnt Cedar installed at the rear entry—blending beauty and durability. 
• Inside the kitchen, cabinetry, leaner and bulkheads are crafted from Alor Vanta veneer panels, bringing warmth and cohesion to the space.
